Management Volunteer Program

What is MVP?

Management Volunteer Program (MVP) provides Krannert Master’s students with opportunities to act as servant leaders through volunteer events held on Purdue’s campus and within the Greater Lafayette community.  Some of the organizations MVP has partnered with include: Habitat for Humanity, Food Finder’s Food Bank, Inc., Adopt-a-Spot Highway Clean-up, Junior Achievement of Greater Lafayette, and many others! MVP is also proud to sponsor one of Krannert’s largest and most popular events, the Annual MVP Charity Ball. This event brings the Krannert community together for food, dancing, and a GREAT time, all in support of a local charity.

Our Mission

  • Develop leadership and community service values in Krannert’s Master’s students through significant volunteer service to the university & community.
  • Enable each student to embody servant leadership in everything they do, every day.

Membership in MVP is a fun way to get involved in serving your community, while building friendships along the way. Contact the president listed below to learn how you can be a part of this great organization.

Each year a team of Purdue MBA students travels to Duke University to compete with other top programs from around the U.S. in Olympic-style events with Special Olympic athletes. These events are one way the team gains points. The other aspect of the point system at the Games is based on the quantity of funds the team raises for the Special Olympics. This is where the funds acquired from the Krannert 5k for a Cause will provide the needed support to nearly 37,000 children and adults with intellectual disabilities. 100% of your contribution will provide year-round sports training and competition for the Special Olympians. If you wish to find out more about Purdue's Duke MBA Team, please do so at: https://sites.google.com/site/purduespecialolympics/home. Remember, not only can you help the MBA team win, but 100% of all donations go directly to the Special Olympics. Your contribution can be tax deductible by using their 501-C(3) approved tax identification number: 56-1149607. Leading up to the race, use the hashtag #Krannert 5k on Twitter to give your feedback, share your enthusiasm and find new details about the race! This event is a fun way to bring the Krannert community together to stay active and provide valuable services to the Special Olympians. We hope to see you on March 28, 2015 at 10am at the starting line! ***Only registrations received before March 16th guarantee a T-shirt of the preferred size.*** 5K for a course false DD/MM/YYYY
