Operations in Action Award

Operations Management area announces an award for the best application of operations and supply chain concepts during your summer internship. To be considered for the award, please submit a 1-­‐ to 2-­‐ pages summary of your internship experience including the following:


1.    Brief project description (for confidentiality purposes, you are not required to disclose the company name);

2.    Identify something you did in your internship that could be used as a short case or as an example to illustrate an operations/supply chain concept in class;

3.    Mention one operations concept/topic you wish you had learned before starting your internship that would have been helpful for your experience.


Up to five winners will be selected by an appointed committee consisting of operations management faculty and Krannert MBA alumni; all winners will receive an honorable mention in Krannert Update Newsletter and on Master’s program webpage.  In addition, 1st place winner receives an honorarium of $150, 2nd place winner receives $100, and 3rd place winner receives $50.

The committee retains the right to use the submitted project descriptions for teaching purposes.
